WAU – Saving Water

Water is a very important natural resource that we have and we are very lucky that we have it at the turning on of a tap. We are also very lucky that we do not have to pay for our water like some other countries do.

If we did have to pay for our water, we may think a little more carefully about wasting water and ways we can save our water usage.

This is our focus for today’s lesson. Watch the video from NI Water below on Saving Water and look at the PPT. When you are ready, complete your water pledge raindrop telling me one way you will try to save water in your home.

Saving Water

Today’s Main Task:

Design a poster on Saving Water!

You can use the A3 page in your pack to do this or maybe you’d like to use Word, PPT on the computer or Pages, PicCollage or another APP on the iPad – you can choose.

You must state ways on your poster that people could save water.

Remember: Good posters have a good mix of text and pictures and are bright and colourful with writing that is easy to read.

Don’t forget to send your finished posters to Mrs Boyd on SEESAW!

Class Novel – Chapter 9 on SEESAW

Well done for completing Tuesday’s activities. Rest up for another day of fun activities tomorrow and maybe do some reading if you can to finish your afternoon! J
