Tuesday 9th February 2021 is Safer Internet Day and your teacher should be giving you a task/lesson this week to make you think about staying safe online.
The theme of this year’s Safer Internet Day is:
An internet we trust: exploring reliability in the online world
Not everything we read, see or hear on the Internet is real or true and it is important that you remember this when exploring online.
For children…watch the video below which explains this year’s theme a little more. There are also two assemblies you could watch and a quiz you can play
It is SO important that you keep yourself safe online boys and girls and remember, along with remembering this year’s theme of an Internet we trust, ALWAYS keep your personal details safe while online and tell an adult if you read, see or hear something on the Internet that you know is not right.
There are lots of things to explore on this website for parents if you’d like to explore this further as a family!
