• P1-P3 Nativity 1st Performance

  The first Nativity performance for P1 -3 will be held in the Channing Day hall at 10am. Tickets are numbered so no need to queue early - please be at school for around 9.45/50 at the latest.

  Children will remain in school following the performance.

   

   

• Applying for a place in the Nursery or P1 in September 2019

• Hockey and footbal cancelled

  P4-7 football and also hockey are cancelled today due to the weather.  Please can you collect your child from school at the usual time of 2.45pm. 

• Cycle and Scoot to school rule

  It is great to see so many children interested in cycling and scooting to school even at this time of year.

   

  Enclosed is a new poster linked to cycling and scooting in Comber Primary.  Please make sure that if your child cycles or scoots to or from school that they now stop before the main school gate and walk their bike or scooter into or out of school.  No child should be riding through the main school gates or on their bikes or scooters in the playground.  This is to ensure the safety of everyone and also cuts out the risk of an accident happening.

   

  If you see anyone on their bike or scooter in the playground remind them of the rule.

• Shoeboxes

  A big thank you to the Comber Primary School community. Together we collected 57 shoeboxes. This is a fabulous amount and we'd like to say well done to every family who took part. 

  Our school council really enjoyed sorting through the shoeboxes. They were gratefully received by Walter Hope from Samaritan's Purse and will shortly be heading to Romania.

• Ganaway pre trip meeting

  Just a reminder about the short Ganaway pre trip meeting in school tomorrow, Thursday 6th September in Mr Richardson's classroom.   This meeting is at 2pm and will last about 30 minutes.  For anyone who can not attend details from the meeting will be sent home with your child.

  Hello everyone and welcome back for the new year! P7 children are in today from 10 - 12 and all others from P1 - P6 are back from tomorrow. Don't forget that school closes for all P2-P7 pupils at 1.45pm on Thursday and Friday this week.
