Hello! This week we will be looking at SETTING in a story, you

  • will look at settings

  • plan your own Viking setting

  • write a short paragraph describe what it would be like waking up in a Viking longhouse.

 

What is a Story Setting?

A story setting is the location where a story takes place. This setting can be anywhere; it could be your home, school, or a magical kingdom far away.

Every story has a setting. For example the Little Red Riding Hood story is set in a village near a forest. There is a house inside the forest where Red Riding Hood's grandmother lives.
