Some of our P7 Digital Leaders have been helping our new cohort of P1 children with logging in on the desktop computers. It’s great to see this peer learning happening inside our four walls.

The children then opened a painting APP and created some wonderful digital art!

We are so proud of our P1 children and a massive thank you to our Digital Leaders for their help and support!

Yesterday our Girls’ Football Team had their debut match of the year against Carrickmannon Primary School.

It was a fantastic friendly match and many thanks to Nendrum College for the use of their brilliant facilities.

Our girls showed incredible sportsmanship, determination, and team spirit across three exciting 10-minute matches. Thanks also to some of our girls for stepping in to help Carrickmannon out!

It’s a great start to the season with some great goals scored!

Our football team were in action again yesterday. Definitely different weather conditions compared to the sunshine of last week! A great comeback by the team with 2 super second half goals. Lots of determination and effort shown once again. Well done everyone.

A proud moment for our P7s!

This morning in Assembly, our wonderful Primary 7 pupils were officially presented with their Buddy Caps - a special symbol of the important role they’ll play in supporting and guiding our younger pupils throughout the year.

We’re so proud of their enthusiasm, kindness, and leadership. Let the buddying begin!

Today our P7 classes took part in a live stream called, Restart A Heart, learning all about resuscitation and CPR.

They learned all about DR ABC…

D for Danger (Check around the person for signs of danger)

R for Response (Is the person responsive to you?)

A for Airways (Check that the person’s airways are clear)

B for Breathing (Can you hear/feel/see signs of breathing? If not, phone 999 and leave your phone beside you on loud speaker) and

C for CPR (Start chest compressions).

This was an excellent initiative to be part of and the children thoroughly enjoyed giving this a go on their schoolbags.
