Friday 26^th February

Morning Check in on Seesaw – this will be going live at 9 a.m., but don’t panic, you have all day to respond.

Friday Assessment – Listen to your group’s spellings and dictation on SEESAW and then complete your Literacy and tables. Please try to do this honestly and on your own, the way we would in class. I would like these to be uploaded to SEESAW for me to mark. Take a picture of your Friday Assessment page and send to me. Good luck! J 

Numeracy – Spider Investigation

Today’s Numeracy activity is a little number investigation.

You may use some of the new skills of using brackets that you have learned this week and you’ll also need your addition, subtraction, multiplication and possibly division facts too!

Choose 10 (Squares/Triangles) and 5 (Circles) numbers between 1-100 and find 8 ways of making that number.

Try to be as creative and imaginative as you can in making your number and use brackets if you feel comfortable!

Literacy – Reading

Each week you’re going to have a reading focus. This week’s reading focus is an activity on SEESAW, so PLEASE check out SEESAW activities this morning to find it.

I’d like you to take a selfie with your current book and follow the other instructions to complete the activity.

Then spend 15 minutes reading your book today please. It is SO important to keep reading at home.
