What we do in Term 1A

 

  1. Learning all about autobiographies and also writing our own.
  2. Revising punctuation.
  3. Looking back at our grammar and revising nouns,verbs,adjectives and adverbs.
  4. We have lots of opportunities for poetry and creative writing.
  5. Researching someone who is a hero to us and creating a poster project on our hero.

 

 

Within UICT we will be creating a PowerPoint with hyperlinks, based on our favourite animals.

 

Literacy Term 1b

 

This term we will be focusing on writing instructions and we will create instructions for our own board games, based on habitats and food chains.

 

In Grammar we will be covering Speech marks, antonyms, pronouns, conjunctions, abbreviations and the dreaded apostrophe!
