Titanic
In class we have been chatting a lot about the sinking of the Titanic and exploring the reasons why the disaster happened. One factor we haven’t talked much about is the theory that there was a fire on board in one of the coal bunkers. This may have seriously weakened Titanic at the exact place which the iceberg hit.

As part of our topic, we always have a look at some other famous shipwrecks. Our first shipwreck is the Hearld of Free Enterprise. Could you carry out some research on this famous shipping disaster? You could put your findings in a PowerPoint or a Word document and email it to us – we’d be delighted to see it.
